  • All guests must have a valid ticket or handstamp to enter the park.
  • Proper swimwear is required. Guests entering with long pants, denim, and swimwear with snaps, studs, or buckles may not be permitted in the pools or activities.
  • No provocative swimsuits are allowed in the park. Splash Island reserves the right to determine the suitability of swimwear attire.
  • Only water diapers are permitted in Splash Island's pools and aquatic facilities. Swimsuit diapers are available for purchase in the merchandise shop.
  • Food, beverages, alcohol, glass, ice chests, picnic baskets, pets and radios may not be brought into the park for health and safety reasons. All bags are subject to search.
  • No food or beverages are allowed in the pools or activities.
  • For your safety, please walk at all times.
  • Running, diving, flips, chain rides, and horseplay are not permitted. Please do not stand, kneel, or stop while riding the slides.
  • All children 11 years and under must be accompanied by an adult or a responsible person both while in the park and in the water.
  • Splash Island is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. You may inquire about lost articles at Island Traders.
  • For your safety, fins, snorkles, and masks are not permitted in the pools or activities.
  • We reserve the right to restrict weak or non-swimmers from participating in deep water activities.
  • We require that all small children and weak swimmers wear lifejackets (available free of charge). On some attractions, lifejackets and supervision are required.
  • Children may not ride on another person's lap. (Unless at the River)
  • All pools and activities are subject to availability.
  • Splash Island operates in the rain, however, pools and slides close during lightning, windstorms, and excess rainy conditions.
  • It is advised to remove excess jewelry, watches, etc., and secure them in a safe place.
  • Sandals, aquasocks, glasses, and lifejackets must be removed before riding some slides.
  • On some attractions sunglasses and eyeglasses may be worn, but should be secured in place with a safety strap.
  • For safety reasons, guests may not use whistles while in the park.
  • Please be advised that the major slides have a minimum height requirement.
  • Guests with any medical, health, or self-imposed restrictions on their physical activity, are overweight for their body type, or under a "doctor's care", should not use the attraction. Persons with skin lacerations, blisters, or infections should not enter the pool.
  • Our lifeguards are highly trained and qualified. Guests must obey lifeguards at all times.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES AND USE COMMON SENSE MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY TO YOURSELF AND/OR OTHERS.

Ride Specific Rules

FOR EVERY ATTRACTION
Appropriate swimwear is defined as attire that is specifically designed for use in a public aquatic environment. Approved lifejackets is defined as a Lifejacket provided by Splash Island or a Lifejacket that has been US Coast Guard approved.


Polynesian Adventure

  • (Body Slides) - flumes of single rider body slides ending in run out lanes. Maximum water depth is 18 inches.
  • Riding position: ankles crossed, arms folded across chest. Maximum operation load is 1 person, 300 lbs. Access to slide towers requires climbing stairs and the ability to wait in line.
  • No lap riders or hand held infants are permitted on the slides. Riders must have at least three functioning extremities including at least one functioning leg and be able to maintain seated posture and upper torso control. Prostheses may not be worn while riding as it could cause a severe hazard to the guest or to other riders. Riders with a cervical collar, broken collarbone, braced arm or full leg cast or with braces between their legs are not permitted to ride. Forearm casts must be padded. No lower extremity casts. The slides are not recommended for guests with a history of recent surgery, heart trouble, weak back or neck, or are pregnant.
  • Riders must wear appropriate swimwear. Full length pants and undergarments are not considered swimwear. Cut-off shorts of any type are not permitted.
  • (Interactive Aqua Play Structure) - multi-level aqua play structure with interactive water play elements.
  • Handheld infants must stay on ground level with responsible adult. Guests must be able to independently negotiate the elements of the Polynesian Adventure. Guests must wear appropriate swimwear. Full length pants and undergarments are not considered swimwear. Cut-off shorts of any type are not permitted. Diaper aged children are required to wear waterproof diapers.


Tonga Tubes Tower

  • (Tube Slides) - single and double ride innertube slide that ends in a 42 inch catch pool. Attraction is comprised of two separate flumes dispatched from a platform 41 feet high. Maximum water depth is 42 inches. Access to tower requires climbing stairs, and the ability to wait in line.
  • Riding position: Riders must stay seated and centered in the inner tube with feet forward, holding onto handles during the entire ride. Guests must be 48 inches to ride without a Lifejacket. Guests who are at least 42 inches but below 48 inches may ride provided they wear a Lifejacket. Double tubes are permitted on selected flumes only. On double tubes, the larger rider will be positioned in the back. Sandals and aqua socks must be removed before riding. Riders must remove sunglasses and eyewear prior to riding. Riders with sunglasses secured with a safety strap are permitted.
  • No lap riders are permitted. Riders must have at least three functioning extremities including at least one functioning leg and be able to maintain seated posture and upper torso control. Prostheses may not be worn while riding as it could cause a severe hazard to the guest or to other riders. Guests with a cervical collar, broken collarbone, braced arm or full leg cast or with braces between their legs are not permitted to ride. Forearm casts must be padded. No lower extremity casts. The Tonga Tubes Tower tube slides are not recommended for guests with a history of recent surgery, heart trouble, weak back or neck, or are pregnant.
  • Guest must wear appropriate swimwear. Full length pants and undergarments are not considered swimwear. Cut-off shorts of any type are not permitted.


Voodoo Plunge

  • (High Speed Body Slides) Three separate speed slides including both open and closed flumes ending in separate catch pool run-outs dispatched from a platform 61 feet high. Access to tower requires climbing stairs, and the ability to wait in line.
  • Riding postion: Riders must slide feet first, lying on their back, with legs firmly crossed at the ankles and arms folded across the chest. Riders must be at least 48 inches tall in bare feet to ride. Guests must remove lifejackets prior to riding. Sandals and aqua socks must be removed before riding. Riders must remove sunglasses and eyewear prior to riding.
  • No lap riders. Riders must have at least three functioning extremities including at least one functioning leg and be able to maintain seated posture and upper torso control. Prostheses may not be worn while riding as it could cause a severe hazard to the guest or to other riders. Guests with a cervical collar, broken collarbone, braced arm or full leg cast or with braces between their legs are not permitted to ride. Forearm casts must be padded. No lower extremity casts. The Voodoo Plunge high speed slides are not recommended for guests with a history of recent surgery, heart trouble, weak back or neck, or are pregnant.
  • Guest must wear appropriate swimwear. Full length pants and undergarments are not considered swimwear. Swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornamentation will not be permitted to ride. Cut-off shorts of any type are not permitted.


Paradise River

  • (Lazy River) - slow moving river ride (approximately 1/3 mile) where guests float around on tubes.
  • All riders must have a tube. Guests walking behind a tube but in contact with a tube will be permitted. Free swimming, diving, or horseplay are not permitted while in the river. All riders must continue with the current of the river. Masks, snorkels, or "floaties" are not permitted. All guests under 42 inches must wear an approved lifejacket and be accompanied by a responsible person. All guests under 48 inches must wear an approved lifejacket. Arm casts must be padded. The Paradise River is not recommended for guests with a history of recent surgery, heart trouble, weak back or neck, or are pregnant. Guest must wear appropriate swimwear. Full length pants and undergarments are not considered swimwear. Cut-off shorts of any type are not permitted. Girls must wear a top. Diaper aged children are required to wear waterproof diapers. Pool water is not intended for drinking. Changing diapers poolside or rinsing child or hands in pool water is not allowed.


Kowabunga Bay

  • (Wave Pool) - 3 to 4 foot waves are operated on a 10 minute on / 10 minute off cycle. Maximum water depth is 6 feet.
  • Guests who utilize a tube must remain seated properly in the center of their tube. Guests may not sit on the edges of the tube. Neither diving or horseplay are permitted while in the river. Masks, snorkels, or "floaties" are not permitted. All guests under 42 inches must wear an approved lifejacket and be accompanied by a responsible person. All guests under 48 inches must wear an approved lifejacket. Hand held infants are only permitted in the shallow end with a responsible adult and a lifejacket. All guests must enter at the shallow end. Please note depth markers. Ladders on the pool sides are for emergency exit only. Kowabunga Bay is not recommended for guests with a history of recent surgery, heart trouble, weak back or neck, or are pregnant. Those guests confined to a wheelchair may participate in the Wave Pool through the shallow access and are able to go to a "seat level" water depth.
  • Guest must wear appropriate swimwear. Full length pants and undergarments are not considered swimwear. Cut-off shorts of any type are not permitted. Girls must wear a top. Diaper aged children are required to wear waterproof diapers. Pool water is not intended for drinking. Changing diapers poolside or rinsing child or hands in pool water is not allowed.
